Winterization Logistics: 900 Jackets for Foster Families

Project: Winter Relief | Production: Domestic Manufacturing | Units: 900

As winter approaches, thermal protection becomes a survival priority. For children in state care or foster families—especially those near the contact line—access to high-quality winter clothing is often financially out of reach.

In partnership with The World Orphan Fund, we executed a targeted winterization campaign, commissioning the production and distribution of 900 new winter jackets.

Strategic Distribution We did not just drop supplies at a warehouse; we utilized a decentralized distribution network to ensure the jackets reached the most vulnerable demographics across five regions:

  • The East (Frontline): 123 units to Kharkiv and 250 to Dnipropetrovsk, supporting families living under constant threat of shelling.

  • The South: 200 units deployed to the Odessa region.

  • The West (IDP Hubs): 11 units to Ivano-Frankivsk and a significant allocation to Ternopil, a key hub for displaced families.

Systemic Partnership To ensure these resources reached the children who needed them most, we collaborated directly with the Coordination Center for the Development of Family Education and Child Care. By integrating with existing social support structures, we guaranteed that every jacket went to a child in the foster or guardianship system.

This initiative provided more than just warmth; it provided one less thing for a foster family to worry about during a difficult winter.
