Investing in the Future: Educational Upgrades in Ivano-Frankivsk

Displacement is not just a loss of home; for children, it is often a loss of future. The disruption of schooling and social structures can set a child’s development back by years. In Ivano-Frankivsk—a key hub for families fleeing the eastern front—the demand for safe, structured educational spaces has skyrocketed.

We identified "Revived by Unity" as a high-impact local partner capable of bridging this gap.

Capacity Building for Youth During our site assessments in 2023, we saw that while the volunteer spirit at the center was immense, the physical infrastructure needed investment to match the scale of the need.

We partnered with Oksana and her team to execute a series of classroom upgrades designed to professionalize and enhance the learning environment.

• Creating Stability: By refurbishing these spaces, we have transformed a temporary stop-gap into a stable educational environment where children can resume learning, language study, and social development.

• Community Hub: This center does not just serve children; it acts as an anchor for IDP families, providing a trusted space where parents can network and support one another while their children are in a safe, structured environment.

Empowering Local Leadership This project is a prime example of our strategy to back proven local operators. "Revived by Unity" is run by the community, for the community. By providing the capital improvements they needed, we empowered them to scale their impact and serve more families effectively.
