The First Fleet: Two Ambulances & Critical Medical Aid

Pillar: Relief & Community & Defence | Assets: 2 Ambulances | Source: Romania

Looking back at where we started, it is incredible to see how the mission has grown. But the mission began with a single objective: get moving.

In the earliest days of our operations, we secured our first two ambulances. Procured in Romania, these vehicles were the first "heavy" assets we deployed to support the collapsing medical infrastructure in Ukraine.

Crucial Support This procurement was complex, and it would not have been possible without the massive support of Tom Perriello. His assistance was instrumental in turning this plan into reality, allowing us to get these wheels turning towards the border when they were needed most.

Loaded for the Front We didn't send them empty. These ambulances served as transport vessels for a critical shipment of medical and nutritional aid:

  • Trauma Care: 500 CAT Tourniquets—essential life-saving devices for stopping massive hemorrhaging.

  • Medical Supplies: The cabins were packed with stretchers, IV kits, bandages, and needles.

  • Nutrition: 5,000 Protein Bars to keep medics and patients fueled.
