Critical Supply: 1,320 Decompression Needles

Pillar: Defence | Asset: TPAK Decompression Needles | Volume: 1,320 Units

Logistics visuals can be deceiving. While this delivery didn't require a convoy of trucks, its impact on survivability is massive. We successfully delivered 1,320 TPAK Decompression Needles to frontline medics.

The Medical Reality: Blast Injury This is an artillery war. The most common preventable cause of death in this environment (after bleeding) is Tension Pneumothorax. Concussive blasts from shelling can cause a lung to collapse, trapping air in the chest cavity and crushing the heart.

The TPAK needle is the specific antidote to this injury. It allows a medic to vent the chest and restore breathing in seconds.

To put this volume in perspective: 1,320 units is not a standard resupply; it is a strategic stockpile. The volume was significant enough that it drew the attention and personal thanks of a former Director of the Ministry of Health.

This delivery ensures that over one thousand soldiers have a second chance at survival if they sustain a blast injury.
